Walk for Life

  • Memorial Park 1605 East Pikes Peak Avenue Colorado Springs, CO, 80909 United States (map)

The 2025 theme for the Walk for Life is Light in the Darkness. We are to let our light shine before men (Matt. 5:16), and we are to point to Jesus, the Light of the world (John 8:12). Join us on Saturday, June 7th for the 38th annual Walk for Life. Life Network's multifaceted approach annually provides services to more than 15,000 people in our community. They offer a holistic approach to valuing life and transforming lives in an around Colorado Springs.

Education for a Lifetime leads the Prevention portion of Life Network's mission by educating students on healthy relationships, suicide prevention, and mental health awareness. 31 local schools were reached last year through this Prevention program.

Education for a Lifetime also works with the Colorado Springs faith community to promote healthy relationships through Parent Talks at churches and Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings.

The Pursue program teaches sexual risk avoidance and how to set healthy boundaries that reflect each student's value. These classes provide medically accurate guidance on teen pregnancy, address high-risk behaviors (such as premarital sexual activity), and prepare students for healthy, long-term relationships.

Village 7 Presbyterian Church is working toward its goal of raising $65,000 during the Walk for Life to support Life Network's ministry. We encourage all Village 7 communities, Bible study groups, Village Groups, etc. to join our friendly competition. It is simple to set up your fundraising page at www.WalkforLife.com. This is an easy way to share about the Walk for Life by email or through your social networks. More information is available at the Ministry Focus counter in the lobby on Sunday.
