A community is like a Sunday school class that is organized to become a sub-congregation. They exist primarily as the vehicle by which Village Seven implements the biblical value of nurture. The God revealed to us in the Bible says that He has a deep desire for relationship with His people. He has also made us with a deep need for relationship with himself and others. Our communities exist at the intersection of those two ideas: helping us grow in our relationship with God through relationships with others and helping us grow in our relationships with other because of our relationship with God. Additionally our Elders and Deacons minister out of their communities, where they can more naturally shepherd their flock.
